This preparation of wheat is commonly used as a side dish as an alternative to rice, quinoa and barley. Can be used in salads, breakfasts, and pilafs.

How to use
Combine 1/2 cup freekeh, 1 1/2 cups water and a pinch of salt in a saucepan. Bring to a boil then simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes, until all the water has been absorbed.
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight for less than 12 months.
